Annabelle Bag Manufacturing

OEM/ODM Bag Manufacturing Since 2009

Custom Backpack Manufacturer in China for Backpack Development

Annabelle Bag is a custom backpack manufacturer in Guangzhou, China. We help turn your backpack requirements into a workable specification for sampling and bulk production. Before bulk production, you receive a physical sample to check the size, materials, internal layout, carrying comfort and workmanship.

Start Your Custom Backpack Project With What You Have

You do not need a complete tech pack to begin. A product photo, drawing, online link or existing backpack is enough for an initial review. We identify the details still needed for quotation and sampling, then explain which points must be confirmed before a reliable price can be prepared.

Explore Custom Backpack Styles for Your Project

Browse the custom backpacks below and choose a style close to the product you want to develop. A suitable reference can move the project into quotation and sampling faster without limiting the final design. Use the closest style to show the overall direction you want to keep. The detailed changes can then be discussed against that reference.

Build a Custom Backpack Around What It Needs to Carry

A laptop backpack, school backpack and lightweight promotional backpack may look similar from the outside, but they need different space, padding and reinforcement inside. Tell us what the bag needs to carry, how it will be used and the target price. Those details shape the backpack before sampling begins. If an extra pocket, panel or layer raises the cost without improving the main use, it can be simplified before sampling.

Make the Inside Space Work

Outside dimensions do not show how much room is left after lining, foam and dividers are added. We size the main compartment, laptop sleeve, pockets and zipper opening around the actual contents, so the bag is easier to pack and usable space is not lost to unnecessary layers.

Put Padding Where It Matters

More foam does not always make a better backpack. It can reduce capacity and make the bag bulky. Shoulder straps need comfort, while a laptop sleeve and the base need protection. The back panel may need enough structure to hold the shape. These areas do not need the same foam thickness.

Reinforce the Parts That Take the Pull

Shoulder-strap joints, top handles, zipper ends and pocket corners are pulled repeatedly during use. Depending on the fabric and expected load, these areas may need backing material, bartacks or extra stitching. Reinforcement is placed where the stress occurs, rather than added everywhere just to make the backpack look stronger.

Choose the Backpack Shape, Fabric and Hardware for Actual Use

The fabric and internal support determine how a backpack looks and feels when it is finished. Many of the backpacks we produce have a softer, more flexible body that is lightweight and easy to carry. A firmer, more structured shape can also be developed when the design requires it.

Decide Whether the Backpack Should Be Soft or Structured

A soft backpack may use lighter fabric and less internal support, making it easier to fold, pack and carry. A more structured backpack may need a firmer lining, foam or support panels to hold its shape. We confirm the required hand feel and finished shape before sampling, then select a suitable combination for the product and target price.

Choose Hardware That Works With the Backpack

Zippers, pullers, buckles and adjusters affect how the backpack opens, closes and carries. The main zipper should fit the opening and fabric thickness. Pullers need to be easy to grip, while buckles and adjusters should match the webbing width and hold the shoulder straps in place. Their size and finish should also suit the overall backpack design.

Confirm the Branding on the Selected Material

The logo method, size and position are confirmed together with the selected fabric and backpack panel. The physical sample allows you to review the actual color, placement and finished appearance before bulk production.

Bulk Backpack Production for First Orders and Reorders

Once the sample and final details are approved, the order needs one clear production reference, not a collection of separate messages. The confirmed pattern and product specification stay with the order as it moves from line setup to finishing and packing.

One Approved Reference for the First Production Run

The product specification records the backpack dimensions, pocket positions, shoulder-strap construction, reinforcement and logo placement. The line supervisor uses the same information when setting up production and comparing the first finished backpacks with the approved version. Differences found at this stage can be corrected before the full order continues.

Keep Colors, Logos and Packing Versions Separate

An order with several colors or logo versions creates more room for mix-ups than a single-version order. The quantity breakdown is prepared before sewing begins. Fabric, lining, hardware, labels and packing are kept with the correct version through finishing and carton packing, using the same breakdown throughout the order.

Repeat Orders Do Not Start From Zero

For a repeat custom backpack order, the previous pattern, specification and production records provide a known starting point. Only the changes approved for the new run, such as a different color, logo or packing file, need to be added. This makes it easier to repeat an established backpack style without developing the product again from the beginning.

Set the Production Date Around the Actual Order

Most bulk backpack orders take about four to five weeks after the materials and final product details are confirmed. Before confirming the completion date, we check fabric availability, custom components, logo work, color quantities and packing requirements.

Production Resources for First Orders and Reorders

Annabelle Bag has manufactured custom bags since 2009. The production network supporting our core bag categories includes 12 production lines and more than 200 production staff, with combined monthly capacity exceeding 100,000 pieces. These resources support large first orders and repeat production, while the final schedule is still confirmed according to the actual project.

Review the Finished Backpack Order Before Shipment

Quality checks should reflect the backpack being produced, not rely on one general checklist for every style. During production, the team checks basic workmanship across the order and samples the product details that matter most to the approved design.

Check Every Backpack for Basic Workmanship

Each finished backpack is checked for visible sewing problems, overall shape, cleanliness, logo placement, labels and basic packing condition. This catches issues that can be seen on individual pieces before the order moves into final packing.

Inspect the Details That Matter to the Backpack Design

Key measurements, functions and performance-related details are checked by sampling according to the backpack structure and agreed requirements. For a laptop backpack, this may include the laptop sleeve, padding and bottom protection. A roll-top backpack needs the opening, closure and buckle position checked. Backpacks intended for heavier loads require closer attention to the shoulder straps, handles and reinforced areas. The inspection points follow the actual product rather than applying the same checks to every backpack order.

Correct Repeated Problems While Production Is Still Running

If the same fault appears on several pieces, the production team can trace the affected operation and correct it before the remaining backpacks are completed. This is more useful than waiting until the full order has already reached the packing stage.

Review the Actual Bulk Order Before Release

Before shipment, photos and video can show the finished backpacks, including the different colors or product versions, logo details and final packing. Tell us which parts of the custom backpack order you want to review. Close-up views can be prepared for details such as compartments, zippers, buckles, shoulder straps, labels and export cartons. The packing team also checks barcodes, quantities and shipping marks against the approved packing instructions before release.

Arrange Independent Inspection When Required

You may appoint your own inspection company or laboratory when independent verification is needed. Annabelle Bag can also help coordinate a third-party provider in China. Send the inspection checklist or required test standard before production so the scope can be confirmed in advance. Relevant factory audit documents and material certificates are available when they apply to the project.

What a Returning Customer Said Before Shipment

“Just checked the photos. The backpacks look really good, and the logo and colors came out nicely. The packing looks fine too. Thanks again to you and the team for the work on this reorder. Happy to keep working with you guys.”
This message was sent after the customer reviewed pre-shipment photos from a repeat order. The customer had already completed one production run with Annabelle Bag and returned for another. Customer and project details are withheld for confidentiality.

Common Questions About Custom Backpack Orders

Our minimum order quantity is 300 pieces. A split between colors or logo versions may be possible, but it depends on the fabric, components, branding process and quantity required for each version. Send us your planned breakdown, and we will check it before preparing the quotation.
Most standard backpack samples take about seven working days once the main specifications and available materials are confirmed. More time may be needed for custom-dyed fabric, specially sourced components or major pattern changes. We will give you an expected completion date before sampling starts.
For a qualified project, Annabelle Bag may waive the sample fee for one sample after an internal review. For other projects, the sample fee is paid before development. International courier charges are normally covered by the customer. We will confirm the applicable terms with you before making the sample.
Yes. However, each size needs to be reviewed separately. The laptop sleeve, pockets, shoulder straps and overall proportions may need to change rather than simply enlarging or reducing the original pattern. Please include the quantity required for each size in your inquiry.
We can develop water-resistant backpacks with coated fabric, suitable lining, protected openings and water-resistant zipper construction. Water-resistant fabric alone does not make the whole backpack waterproof. A higher protection level may require changes to the seams, zippers and opening structure. Tell us how the backpack will be used and whether you have a test standard.
We compare the bulk material with the approved sample or confirmed reference. If we find a noticeable difference, we will notify you and send photos before proceeding. The acceptable range is based on the standard you approve for the order, especially when the project has strict color requirements.
That depends on what has changed. A new sample is usually more important when the change affects the size, shape, main material, internal structure, shoulder straps or logo appearance. Smaller adjustments may sometimes be checked through updated artwork, material references or photos when the revised detail can be confirmed clearly.
Backpacks are soft products, so measurements can be affected by foam, fabric stretch, curved panels and the internal structure. Before production, we agree on the main measurement points, the measuring method and the acceptable tolerance. The same method is then used when checking the finished order.
